Georgia High School Softball - Towns County loses to Gilmer
August 6, 2019: Ellijay, GA 30540 The Gilmer Bobcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Towns County Indians to 1 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Gilmer moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bobcats host Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to clash with the Panthers in a 6-AAAA game on Thursday, August 15. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 2-2.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) in a 8-A game, on Thursday, August 8. Towns County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
