August 8, 2022: Cyril, OK 73029 The Cyril Pirates softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Cyril moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Pirates host Apache (Apache, OK) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, August 12. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hydro-Eakly for a Class A battle on Tuesday, August 9. Fort Cobb-Broxton will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hinton (Hinton, OK). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-2.
