The Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) football defeated the visiting Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND), 23-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Roughriders face the Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND) in a A bout, on Friday, September 8. Red River will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Braves enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 48-12 league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, ND).
