In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Wausa Vikings football squad scored a good 36-14 victory over the Boyd County Spartans.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the St. Francis Flyers (Humphrey, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 18. Wausa will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Flyers enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 44-38 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, NE).
