Pennsylvania High School Soccer - South Park nudges Thomas Jefferson
September 10, 2022: Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA) in a WPIAL AA 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. South Park will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Wild Cats enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA).
The Jaguars now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albert Gallatin for a WPIAL AAA 3 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Thomas Jefferson will face a Colonials team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 0-2.
