Match Story

Arizona High School Volleyball - Sunrise Mountain over Liberty

September 10, 2025: Peoria, AZ 85382

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Liberty Lions.

The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Wildcats go into the 5A - Northwest Valley test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Willow Canyon was defeated by Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Liberty will face a Toros squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Toros record now stands at 3-6.
