September 11, 2021: Twin City, GA 30471 Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Screven County for a A Public Region 3 challenge on Monday, September 13. Emanuel County Institute will battle a Gamecocks squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The Gamecocks record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Bacon County falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA) to battle the Indians in a AA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 14. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Vidalia lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against West Laurens (Dexter, GA)
