North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont over Central Cabarrus

September 11, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), saw Piedmont's volleyball squad beat Central Cabarrus by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Piedmont upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Panthers host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Mount Pleasant won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)

The Vikings now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A bout on Wednesday, September 13. Central Cabarrus will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-5.
