The South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA) football knocked off the host Garey Vikings (Pomona, CA), 35-7 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a Mission Valley outing on Friday, September 19. South El Monte will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 19-8 non-league win over La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.
