In Thursday's league challenge, the host Bald Eagle Area Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers.

The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Mountain lost by West Branch (Morrisdale, PA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers meet the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Dragons come into the outing with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA).
