September 11, 2025: Surprise, AZ 85379 Tonopah Valley Phoenix (Tonopah, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Tonopah Valley upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Rancho Solano Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Rancho Solano Prep won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
Next, the Honey Badgers face the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 17. Highland Prep will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Sentinels go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ).
