California High School Volleyball - Mayfair crushed by South
September 11, 2025: Lakewood, CA 90713 The South Spartans prevailed the host Mayfair Monsoons volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chatsworth for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. South will clash with a Chancellors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over University (Los Angeles, CA). The Chancellors record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Mayfair drops to 4-12 on the year. The Monsoons host La Mirada (La Mirada, CA) to confront the Matadores in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. The Matadores enter the match with a record of 1-14. La Mirada lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Norwalk (Norwalk, CA)
