Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Willow improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to face the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Saints now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chalmette for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. St. Martin's Episcopal will meet a Owls team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA). The Owls record now stands at 4-5.
