In Thursday's league game, the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) football team overcame the visiting Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), by a tally of 44-14.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) in a 5A-1 Region III District 10 game, on Friday, September 20. Waltrip will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
