Oklahoma High School Football - Coalgate prevails Atoka
September 12, 2025: Atoka, OK 74525 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Coalgate Wildcats football team scored a nice 25-6 win over the Atoka Wampus Cats.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK) in a 2A-II District 2 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Coalgate will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 44-0 non-league win over Wewoka (Wewoka, OK).
With the defeat, Atoka drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wampus cats travel to Lindsay (Lindsay, OK) to meet the Leopards in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Leopards come into the test with a record of 2-0. Lindsay won 27-0 in their recent non-league test against Purcell (Purcell, OK)
