Texas High School Football - Buna trounced by Hardin-Jefferson

The Buna Cougars football team (Buna, TX), was crushed 47-12 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX)

With the win, Hardin-Jefferson advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Livingston (Livingston, TX) to encounter the Lions in a 4A-1 Region III District 10 bout on Friday, September 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Livingston lost 29-23 in their recent non-league bout against Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX)

The Cougars now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kountze for a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. Buna will confront a Lions squad coming off a 41-8 non-league win over Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
