Colorado High School Football - Rock Canyon thwarts Douglas County

September 12, 2025: Highlands Ranch, CO 80124

Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), 42-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Rock Canyon advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Grandview (Aurora, CO) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Grandview won 44-10 in their recent non-league battle against Legacy (Broomfield, CO)

The Huskies now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Castle View for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Douglas County will play a Sabercats team coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Horizon (Thornton, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 2-1.
