West Virginia High School Football - Liberty defeats Greenbrier West
September 12, 2025: Glen Daniel, WV 25844 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV) and the visiting Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV), witnessed Liberty's football squad topple Greenbrier West by a tally of 27-14.
The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks enter the Coalfield AA contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, James Monroe was outscored by Bluefield (Bluefield, WV), 35-27, in a league contest.
Next up, the Cavaliers encounter the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 19. Greenbrier West will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 45-0 league loss to Sherman (Seth, WV).
