In Friday's league match, the visiting Ridge Red Devil football squad scored a good 28-7 triumph over the Hillsborough Raiders.

The Red Devil (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners come into the Big Central - American Silver match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Phillipsburg defeated Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ), 55-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Raiders confront the Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Hillsborough will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bombers come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 46-14 league win over Edison (Edison, NJ).
