North Carolina High School Football - Martin County triumphant over Southside

September 12, 2025: Williamston, NC 27892

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC) and the visiting Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), witnessed Martin County's football squad wallop Southside by a tally of 58-0.

The Gators (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Greene Central crushed North Pitt (Bethel, NC), 40-36, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Seahawks battle the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 19. Southside will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 34-6 non-league loss to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC).
