Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), saw Northeastern's football team gain a win over Wilson Prep by a final score of 41-32.

With the win, Northeastern advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles host Vance County (Henderson, NC) to encounter the Vipers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Vipers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Vance County lost 41-14 in their recent non-league bout against Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Tigers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Farmville Central for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Wilson Prep will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 43-15 non-league loss to West Craven (Vanceboro, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-2.
