Texas High School Football - Round Rock can't hold off Vista Ridge

September 12, 2025: Cedar Park, TX 78613

The Vista Ridge Rangers held off the visiting Round Rock Dragons football squad by a count of 30-29 in Friday's league test.

The Rangers now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stony Point for a 6A Region IV District 25 test on Thursday, September 18. Vista Ridge will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 24-0 league loss to Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

The Dragons (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against McNeil (Austin, TX). The Mavericks go into the 6A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, McNeil nipped Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX), 70-45, in a league challenge.
