Texas High School Volleyball - Southwest can't hold off Harlandale

In Friday's league match, the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Indians battle the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 match, on Tuesday, September 16. Harlandale will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 18-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to MacArthur (San Antonio, TX).

The Dragons now own a 14-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winn for a 5A Region IV District 28 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Southwest will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-19.
