The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) and the visiting Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE), saw Ashland-Greenwood's softball squad nip Malcolm by a count of 11-7.

The Bluejays now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yutan-Mead for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 14. Ashland-Greenwood will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Cass (Louisville, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 12-1.
