September 13, 2023: Troy, MI 48085 The Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) football nudged the visiting Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI), 14-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Red Hawks face the Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 23. Athens will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.
The Yellowjackets (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Park (Oak Park, MI). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Oak Park held off Troy (Troy, MI), 12-7, in a non-league bout.
