The Simley Spartans football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Fridley Tigers to 14 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hill-Murray for a Skyway - Gold test on Friday, September 20. Simley will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 49-7 non-league win over St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-1.
