Georgia High School Football - Winder-Barrow can't hold off Seckinger

September 13, 2024: Buford, GA 30519

Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), 20-15 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Seckinger improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Roswell (Roswell, GA) to play the Hornets in a AAAAA Region 7 battle on Friday, September 20. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Roswell won 42-35 in their recent non-league battle against Westlake (Atlanta, GA)

The Bulldoggs now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alcovy for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 19. Winder-Barrow will play a Tigers team coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
