September 13, 2025: Gurnee, IL 60031 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) and the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), witnessed Warren Township's football squad edge Lake Forest by a tally of 28-27.
The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Oak Park-River Forest was tipped by Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL), 28-6, in a league battle.
The Scouts now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Zion-Benton for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Lake Forest will confront a Zee-Bees squad coming off a 21-6 non-league loss to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 0-3.
