September 13, 2025: Independence, OR 97351 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Central Panthers (Independence, OR) and the visiting Tualatin Timberwolves (Tualatin, OR), observed Central's volleyball team hold off Tualatin by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Crescent Valley tipped South Albany (Albany, OR), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Timberwolves now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tigard for a 6A Three Rivers contest on Thursday, September 18. Tualatin will battle a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
