In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Freedom Patriots soccer squad scored a close 2-0 win over the McDowell Titans.

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record.
