Los Alamos traveled down to Albuquerque to meet up with the Hawks of Volcano Vista. The Toppers came out flat from the start having to take a timeout after the Hawks flew out to a 4-0 lead. The Toppers never got it together for the first two sets with almost as many hitting errors as kills in the entire match. The back row did not do them any favors with a combined 37 receive and dig errors. The service errors were double the aces at 10 to 5. The Toppers will need to re-engage prior to their Tuesday night home game against the Jaguars from Capital.
