Massachusetts High School Football - Northeast Metro RVT defeats Winthrop
September 15, 2025: Winthrop, MA 02152 Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA) and the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), saw Northeast Metro RVT's football team topple Winthrop by a count of 67-41.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Minutemen enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Bay Path RVT was beaten by Diman RVT (Fall River, MA), 12-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams (Billerica, MA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 20. Winthrop will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
