Connecticut High School Football - Bacon Academy drops to Montville
September 16, 2022: Oakdale, CT 06370 In Friday's non-league game, the Montville Indians (Oakdale, CT) football team knocked off the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), by a score of 38-28.
The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Quinebaug Valley Coop (Putnam, CT). The Pride come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Quinebaug Valley Coop toppled O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT), 7-0, in a league game.
The Bobcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledyard for a Eastern Connecticut II game on Friday, September 23. Bacon Academy will battle a Colonels team coming off a 37-13 non-league win over Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 3-0.
