The Coosa Eagles football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Towns County Indians to 14 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Armuchee for a A D1 Region 7 battle on Friday, September 23. Coosa will play a Indians squad coming off a 28-21 non-league loss to Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA) in a A D2 Region 8A battle, on Friday, September 30. Towns County will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 34-33 non-league loss to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA).
