September 16, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 The L.C. Bird Skyhawks topped the host Godwin Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Skyhawks confront the Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 19. L.C. Bird will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA).
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Freeman gained a win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
