September 16, 2024: Murfreesboro, TN 37130 Summertown Eagles (Summertown, TN) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Summertown improves its record to 15-6 on the season. The Eagles host Collinwood (Collinwood, TN) to face the Trojans in a A District 11 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 11-8.
The now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Battle Creek for a AA District 8 test on Thursday, September 19. Central Magnet will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Community (Unionville, TN). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-7.
