Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) and the host Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE), observed Johnson County Central's volleyball team top Tri County by a tally of 2-0.

The Thunderbirds (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Adams, NE). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Freeman beat Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats (Exeter, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Tri County will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE).
