The Shelby Tigers topped the host Mason County Central Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Tigers face the Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 18. Shelby will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 7-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Allendale (Allendale, MI).

The Spartans (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Ravenna (Ravenna, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Western Michigan outing with a 3-6 record.
