The Seward Seahawks held off the host Valdez Buccaneers football team by a count of 54-50 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Seward upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Seahawks host Nikiski (Nikiski, AK) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Denali outing on Friday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 1-4.
