In Friday's league match, the visiting Cheshire Rams football squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the North Haven Indians.

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 24. Cheshire will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Wreckers enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 35-14 league loss to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT).

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Wilton thwarted Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 21-14, in a non-league match.
