Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield North was beaten by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Roadrunners go into the test with a 8-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL).
