The Cox Mill Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hough Huskies to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Monday.

The Chargers now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Iredell for a Greater Metro 4A game on Tuesday, September 19. Cox Mill will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-5.

The Huskies (16-1) will now prepare for their game against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans enter the Queen City 3A/4A game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Hopewell dropped by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
