September 18, 2024: Daly City, CA 94015 Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pacific Bay Christian Eagles (Pacifica, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Summit Shasta improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Black Bears host The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA) to encounter the Mavericks in a test on Tuesday, September 24. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 2-0.
The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Nueva School for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Pacific Bay Christian will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over KIPP San Jose Collegiate (San Jose, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-0.
