California High School Football - Valley Christian beat St. Anthony

The Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) football were winner over the host St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), 28-13 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Defenders now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capistrano Valley Christian for a Ironwood outing on Friday, October 3. Valley Christian will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 21-16 non-league win over St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, St. Anthony drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to face the Kares in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Kares come into the outing with a record of 5-0. Rio Hondo Prep won 36-7 in their recent non-league outing against Bellflower (Bellflower, CA)
