The Ironwood Eagles got by the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos flag football team by a score of 12-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Ironwood will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Stampede go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 28-0 league loss to Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ).

The Fighting Lobos (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
