The Willow Canyon Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Estrella Foothills Wolves to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sunrise Mountain for a 5A - Northwest Valley outing on Tuesday, September 23. Willow Canyon will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Estrella Foothills drops to 9-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, September 22. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-11. ALA - Gilbert North won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ)
