In Thursday's league challenge, the host St. Mary's Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record.

Next, the Greyhounds meet the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants (Le Sueur, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Giants enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN).
