September 19, 2022: Englewood, FL 34224 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Venice Indians (Venice, FL) and the host Lemon Bay Manta Rays (Englewood, FL), saw Venice's volleyball squad beat Lemon Bay by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Indians host Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL) to play the Rams in a test on Tuesday, September 20. The Rams enter the test with a record of 8-2. Riverview Sarasota won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Bradenton Christian (Bradenton, FL)
The Manta Rays (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Bishop Verot gained a win over First Baptist Academy (Naples, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
