The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) volleyball overcame the visiting Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Wilson Memorial upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Green Hornets host Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to play the Bison in a Shenandoah outing on Tuesday, September 20. The Bison go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Buffalo Gap won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA)
