Ohio High School Football - Big Walnut defeats Westerville South

September 19, 2025: Sunbury, OH 43074

In Friday's league match, the host Big Walnut Golden Eagles football squad scored a good 28-7 victory over the Westerville South Wildcats.

The Golden Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Padua Franciscan was topped by Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH), 21-14, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Westerville North for a Ohio Capital - Capital battle on Friday, September 26. Westerville South will play a Warriors team coming off a 20-13 league win over Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
